What I'm Eating Wednesday

Thanks so much for all the birthday comments! It was a great day : )

For the past two Wednesday's I've posted exclusively about food. Which isn't surprising if you read my blog, but I figured going forward I'll keep the food photos to once a week, and it will be known as "What I'm Eating Wednesday."

I know, I'm very creative.

I drink smoothies pretty much every day.  Every summer we go berry picking, and I end up with several gallon sized bags of fruit, that I freeze and using during the winter.  After the party on Friday, we had a ton of fruit salad left over that my sis in law made.  Mike had the great idea to freeze it into snack sized plastic bags, which is the perfect amount for a smoothie.  Just peel, then throw it in the blender.

He's a smart one, my husband.

Those berries look beautiful. Do you add anything in the blender with them? I have never made smoothies YET but I have berries in the freezer for that very reason.

That bar of berries sure is pretty.

Great idea!! I have to keep my smoothies until the afternoon since I would wake the whole house if I cranked up the blender at 5am!

That is such a good idea! I know I'm totally craving summer berries right now... the ones we have in Ohio don't really cut it at the moment.

That is a great idea! If I wasn't freezing right now, that would look really tasty as is.

Great idea! They look scrumptious! I so wish it was berry picking weather . . . this winter is beautiful but really starting to linger.

That's a great idea! We don't find much fresh berries here or when we do they are very expensive. I love a good mixed berry smoothy. Have a good weekend!
